Sting WWE Wallpapers HD & Bio Data – The Legendary Wrestler


Few people know that real name of legendary Sting is “Steve Borden Sr.”. With a long and luminous 30 years long career, sting is one of the greatest wrestlers in history. In 1990’s, WCW (World Championship Wrestling) was the most popular wrestling organization in USA and Sting was the face of WCW. Sting remained with WCW for over 14 years and won all major titles in WCW. Her long affiliation with WCW ended in 2001, when WWE acquire the WCW.

After acquisition of WCW, WWE tried to sign contract with Sting but it did not worked and finally Sting joined TNA (Total Nonstop Action Wrestling) in 2003. Sting remained with TNA for over 11 years and won TNA World Heavyweight Championship four times. WWE always tried to persuade the Sting and described Sting as “the greatest wrestler never to have performed for WWE”. Finally Sting joined WWE in 2014 and made his first appearance in WrestleMania 31 against Tripe H.

Steve Borden was born on 20 March 1959 in Omaha Nebraska USA. During his school and college life he persuade career in football and basketball but later decided to become a bodybuilder. Sting never thought to become a wrestler and never watch any wrestling match on TV. Once he was taken to live WWE event in Los Angeles California by his friends where he saw legends like Hulk Hogan and decided to become a wrestler.

Pro Wrestling Illustrated is the most popular wrestling magazine in the world and named him “Most Popular Wrestler of the Year” on four times, a record he shares with John Cena. All other great wrestler praises him and Hulk Hogan once said that Sting is in the all-time top 10 great wrestlers.
