Michael John Clarke was born on 2 April 1981 in New South Wales, Australia. He played his early cricket from New South Wales in Sheffield Shield. In 2011 he was given responsibility of Captainship and he responded well. Clarke not only led Australian team well under his leadership but inspired everyone with his batting performance. On 8 October 2015, Clarke announced his retirement from all format of cricket. He announced his ODI retirement before the final of World Cup 2015 and made 72 runs in the final.
