The tall and strong fast bowler has a smooth and impressive bowling action which helps him generates extra pace from the surface. The English Fast Bowler is performing well for his team and especially in the shorter format of game. He came into lime light when he became leading wicket taker from Durham in first class season in 2005. Due to his outstanding performance at domestic level Plunkett was selected for English Team and made his ODI debut on 10 December 2005 against Pakistan when he was only 20 years old. He was dropped from National Team due to his inconsistent performances after he played 9 Tests and 27 ODI,s. In 2013, under the guidance of Australian Fast Bowler Jason Gillespie, coach of Yorkshire, he developed himself into a perfect fast bowler and performed well. As a result he was again selected for English Team.
Liam Edward Plunkett was born on 6 April 1985 in Yorkshire, England. He is not only a genuine fast bowler but also a very hand batsman who has some first-class centuries under his belt. After his successful performances at County level he was selected for English Cricket Team at very young age. He made his Test Cricket debut on 29 November 2005 against Pakistan.
In a recent T20 Series against Pakistan in UAE he bowled well and also earned a Man of the Match award in 3rd T20 International. Overall he is very useful player in English Cricket Team, especially in ODI and T200 Cricket due to his bowling and batting abilities.
