Lena Goebling was born on 8 March 1986 in Bielefeld West Germany. She started her football career with local club SV Lohne-Obernbeck but joined FC Gutersloh in 2003. She remained there for 3 years and in 2006 she joined SC 07 Bad Neuenahr. Lena spent almost five year with Bad Neuenahr and developed herself into a world class footballer. In 2011 she was offered lucrative deal by VfL Wolfsburg which she accepted eagerly and joined the reputed club.
She also got the attention of national selectors at an early age and played for Germany U17 in 2002. She represented the Germany U19, U20 and U23 teams. In 2008 she made debut for National German Team and since than a permanent member of the team and played vital role in many of his team’s achievements.
Lena Goebling is a perfect midfielder who is famous for providing goal scoring opportunities to the strikers. She won many awards for this club and for his country and one of the best female soccer players in the world.
