Jos Buttler is one of the most exciting young batsmen in the world. The English cricketer is known for his innovative hitting and excellent wicket keeping. Buttler is following the footsteps of AB Devilries and improving his clean hitting like AB. He is one of the most dangerous hitter in shorter format. He holds record of scoring the fastest century in ODI from England. So far he scored three centuries in ODI and those are the three fastest ODI centuries in history of English ODI cricket. Recently he scored century on 46 balls against Pakistan in UAE and also won the “Man of the Series” award due to his consistent batting performance.

Joseph Charles Jos Buttler was born on 8 September 1990 in Taunton Somerset England. Buttler started his cricket with Somerset and represented the club in all youth teams. He made his T20 International debut against India on 31 August 2011. Buttler made his ODI debut against Pakistan on 21 February 2012. Due to his flawless wicket keeping hard hitting in death overs he became permanent member of English Team in shorter formats. Finally due to his consistent performance at international level he earned Test Cap on 27 July 2014 against England. He proved his selection right when he scored 85 runs from 83 balls on his debut and helped England won the match.

He is tall and strong player who likes to innovate strokes. Buttler became the first choice for England in all formats after the retirement of Matt Prior and Kieswetter. Jos Buttler won “NBC Denis Compton Award” and “Young Wisden Schools Cricketer of the Year Award” in 2010. In 2011 he again won the “NBC Denis Compton Award”. Overall he is a fine young player who is improving his game with every passing day and considered as future superstar of English Cricket Team.
