Ian Ronald Bell was born on 11 April 1982 in Walsgrave, Coventry, UK. This right-handed batsman is also known by his nick names Belly or Duke of Bellington. Bell first appeared for Warwickshire’s second team in 1998. He made his Test Cricket Debut on 19 August 2004 against West Indies Cricket Team and scored half century at playing number five position. On 28 November 2004 he made his One Day International debut against Zimbabwe.
Ian Bell is considered as back bone of English Cricket Team’s middle order. He can also bowl with his right-arm medium bowling style. The Times Magazine described this right-handed middle order batsman as an “exquisite rapier”. Bell is also known for his fast reflexes and considered as best fielder in close catching positions.
