Highest Mountain in North America
Mount McKinley is the highest mountain not only in United States of America but also in continent North America. It is also known as “Denali” which mean “The High One”. This snow covered mountain is situated in Alaska with summit elevation of 20320 feet or 6194 meters above sea level.
Henry Peter Karstens, Hudson Stuck, Walter Harper and Robert Tatum are the first climbers who reached at the summit of Mount McKinley in 1913. Below given picture shows this picturesque mountain peak.
