Mount Kosciuszko is the highest mountain in the continent of Australia. It is situated in the Snowy Mountains in Kosciuszko National Park. It was named by a Polish explorer Count Paul Edmund Strzelecki who was hero of the American Revolutionary War.

Pawel Edmund Strzelecki was the first climber who reached at the summit of this picturesque mountain.
