Emmanuel Adebayor Biography
This African Footballer of the Year (2008), is one of the most successful African footballer of Premier League who is part of Manchester City but currently playing for Tottenham Hotspur on Loan. In January 2010, he was sitting in the bus of Togo National Team which came under gunfire attack on the way to the 2010 African Cup of Nations in Angola. The turning point in the career of black striker came when he joined Arsenal in 2006. He was part of Arsenal from 2006 to 2009 and scored 46 goals in 104 appearances.
Sheyi Emmanuel Adebayor was born on 26 February 1984 in Lome, Togo. After his early attachment with Arsenal he signed with Manchester City for huge 25 million pounds. During match against Arsenal (his former club) his scored goal and ran almost the full length of the pitch to the Arsenal supporters and celebrating in front of them. It sparked criticism but he apologized later on.
In FIFA World Cup 2016, his dream comes true when his country Togo played first World Cup and he represented his team.
