Dominika Cibulkova Biography
Slovakia is small country and not known for producing fine tennis players but Dominika Cibulkova is an exception as this professional Slovak tennis player is earned her name in the world of tennis and she is one of the rising young tennis stars in the world. Cibulkova reached the semis of Grand Slam in 2009 and became the only second Slovakian player in history to do that. In 2011 she again surprised everyone by beating World No.1 Caroline Wozniacki and reached the quarterfinals of Wimbledon.
Dominika Cibulkova is one of the shortest women in WTA top rank players with height of only 5.3 feet but she never discouraged by her below powered height and used her quick feet and potent ground strokes to destroy some of the biggest players of WTA. On 6 July 2009 she achieved the highest ranking of her career when she became World No.12.
Dominika Cibulkova was boron on 6 May 1989 in Czechslovakia. She started to play the game when she was seven years old. This prolific player of hard surface can speak both English and Slovak languages proficiently.
