Alex Hales is an explosive opening batsman of English Cricket Team. The right-handed player has variety of powerful strokes which makes him one of the most dangerous players in T20 format. Alexander Daniel Alex Hales was born on 3 January 1989 in London, England. His father was a very popular domestic cricketer and Hales started his cricket under the guidance of his father. Alex Hales impressed selectors with his domestic T20 performance in 2011 and earned chance to represent national team. He made his T20 International debut against India in 2011 but scored nothing on debut. It was on 24 June 2012 when he helped England to chase a record total with his innings of 99 and became the integral part of T20 Team.
Alex Hales was part of English squad in World T20 2014. In a group match against Sri Lanka, he scored unbeaten 116 and became the first English batsman to score a T20 International century. Hales made his long awaited ODI debut on 27 August 2014 against India. Recently he scored his maiden ODI century against Pakistan in UAE and proved his worth as important ODI player.
