She earned fame and respect not only for herself in tennis court but also for her country “Poland” because in 2007 she became the first Polish player in history to claim a WTA Tour singles title. So far she reached in five Grand Slam quarterfinals which no other Polish player ever done. In 2008 she became the first Polish tennis player to surpass the career prize money of $1 million.
Agnieszka Radwanska was born on 6 March 1989 at Krakow, Poland. She is known as crafty player with fine court sense. In 2006 she won the award of “WTA Tour Most Impressive Newcomer of the Year”, and made strong statement that a new tennis superstar is on the rise. In 2011 she won “WTA Fan Favorite Singles Player” which made her a real superstar. This right-handed powerful girl is famous for her brilliant use of court and she always construct points in court after thought and planning.
Agnieszka Radwanska climbed in the ranking and became World No.2 in 2012. The right-handed tennis player also reached in the final of Wimbledon 2012 but lost that crucial match of her career. In the following years she performed with consistency and remained top ten. In 2013 she earned title of “WTA Shot of Year” and also won 3 major WTA titles. Next year although Agnieszka Radwanska won the Canadian Open but forced out from top five ranking. In 2015 she regain her lost space and came back into top five and in 2016 she again became the World No.2.
